Transport 🚗

Huge queues at petrol stations in Blanch last night and this morning ⛽️

Fuel protests this week caused significant disruption across Dublin - with Blanchardstown right at the centre of it due to our location.

Petrol stations in the area have been backed up with queues of cars looking to get ahead of any potential shortages.

Prices in Hartstown are currently (as of 10am this morning):

  • €217.9 (Diesel)

  • €191.9 (Petrol)

Across the city, the knock-on impact is huge:

🚗 Severe delays on major routes
🚌 Dublin Bus services heavily disrupted, with some routes cancelled
🚊 Luas Green Line partially suspended
✈️ Dublin Airport passengers advised to allow extra travel time

Even emergency services were forced to use the hard shoulder to get through traffic.

More updates are expected as the situation continues to develop.

What do you think of the situation? We want to know your thoughts!

Circle K Hartstown this morning at 10am.

Food 🍜

Korean BBQ Restaurant White Rabbit Coming to Blanch

Another new food spot is on the way to Blanchardstown Centre — and this one looks a bit different.

White Rabbit, a Korean BBQ-style restaurant, is set to open on Level 2 (Yellow Car Park side) — right beside Umai. It will be joined by it’s sister company, Arisu, which offers more traditional Korean food.

It follows recent additions like Popeyes and Taco Bell, as the centre continues expanding its food offering.

Menu highlights from White Rabbit include:

  • Korean corn dogs

  • “Cupbaps” (Korean rice bowls)

  • Korean fried chicken

There’s already an existing location on Capel Street — so if you’re curious, you can try it out early.

Housing 🏠

2,500 Homes Planned for Dunsink Area

A major housing development is on the way near Dublin 15.

Plans have been approved that will see 2,500 homes built in Dunsink by 2029, as part of a wider strategy to increase housing supply across Fingal.

  • Total housing target now increased to 40,000 homes

  • Dunsink expected to become a major new residential hub
